I loved the old version of this app. It was a normal magazine experience. Now the app is hard to read offline and looks unprofessional. I read the magazine mostly on the airplane and it is very difficult. Please change the app back! If I could get my money back I would in an instant! Do not buy this e magazine until the app is changed. Mens Health continues to be a good magazine despite the horrible app.

Rodale did you actually test the new format with actual customers?? Im dumbfounded how this poor of an app could get to market. Not only is it terrible to navigate, previously downloaded content is gone, its slow and lags. I have many Rodale subscriptions because I love the content, but with a platform this disconnected from the customer, I will find my content elsewhere.

This app was always one of my favorites rites until the recent update. Ridiculous navigation issues, lack of labeling, freezing, crashing, confusing, saved content is not identified, can not scroll cover to cover...I could go on. Go back to the drawing board please or Ill be cancelling before the next renewal.

If I had to choose between going on a date with Caitlyn Jenner, or attempt to continue using this app, I would choose the former. Even though, with either one, youre not sure what youre going to get. This app has turned into a nightmare, almost makes me want to cancel my subscription.

The latest update wants to force you to view the magazine a different way than as a magazine. When you touch the cover to open, it takes you to an unintuitive table of contents, then to each individual article. It is not like viewing a magazine at all, but like viewing a website. From AOL. In the 1990s. But what if you want to save the magazine for offline viewing? You can’t just touch the cover and download it like you used to. Now there is a star at the bottom of each issue that you must touch to download each issue. Sounds easy. But, like everything else with this update, it’s not. If you want to download issues now, you have to either log in with Facebook or create an account. Then you can download the magazine. But the app defaults to a text view, and if you want to view the magazine as it used to be in the app, you must click PDF view on the top right. This will, eventually, convert the magazine to be viewed the way you used to be able to view it with one touch/click. If this version of the app was tested, I’m not sure how it made it through QA. If it is not changed back to the way it used to be, there is no chance I will renew my subscription.

iPhone 7. Ive downloaded and reinstalled it three times now. Same results.

I agree with previous reviewers. My frustration ran out when I thought I had "saved" the current/past issues only to find that they were inaccessible without Internet on my international flight. The latest "update" must have cleared my settings. My online subscription has since been cancelled.

Im not sure what happen but this update is a MAJOR step backwards. Its 2016 for gods sake! This new layout feels cheap and outdated! Why would MH change from a cool interactive magazine to this!? If this is where the MH Mag App is staying I will not be re-newing my subscription.

I like where your heads at (allow a text version), but this isnt working. Go back to PDF version please.

Nothing but crashes.

I just purchased a yearly subscription today. So far, I cant even view the current issue. I have followed all instructions provided. The app crashes when I select restore purchases. I have also reset my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. I do not recommend using the Mens Health app.

If I released such a broken product to the marketplace, I would be fired. MH, start treating your emagazine with the same level of attention given to your wonderful print magazine.

I lost access to my subscription, and see no way of resolving the issue. Very sad, but I have no option other than to cancel my subscription.

Who requested the change in format? That person needs to be fired. Yesterday. This format is terrible, someone intended to make the content easier to sort, if I wanted he content only Id look at the articles on the webpage. Change it back and next time ask your paying customers their opinion before making a drastic change. Automatic renewal is now turned off until this mess is fixed.

Please bring back the old version. This is terrible. I hate it.

I subscribe to several magazines that are supported by MAZ, including Runners World, Bicycling & Mens Health. I have enjoyed them all over the years and they are all now non-functional. I very much enjoyed having the issues download for air travel, no despite following directions (when the app does work) they are not available. Please roll this app back to the previous version. This is not only not an improvement, it is about to cause me to discontinue my subscriptions.

Can not get the app to restore my previous purchase and recognize my subscription

I saw reviews about missing the original magazine format but I like that its more like a normal app now. Loads fast, easy to read on my phone

Customer service suggested I delete and download the new version which I did. Appears to have been no improvement as print subscribers are still locked out. The rest of my previous review still valid as well. And they still advertise that a print subscriber has access to the digital edition. Not true. Previous review: Theyve completely changed the app in a way that removes access to previously purchased print editions. Plus, the electronic versions are difficult to navigate and not logical in layout. The previous app was not the best but this version is very frustrating. FAQ instructions to restore prior versions dont work. Dont subscribe until these issues are fixed!
